Speaking of introducing kids to the game, in 2009 the "Silver Pony Course" at Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club was created. It is a par 28 executive length short course with tee boxes on Silverado's front nine.

The concept was developed to accommodate the local youth, golfers new to the game, and players who simply want to play a quick nine holes. To promote golfing with kids, we have established a special $10 adult rate on the Silver Pony Course after 4:00pm, which then qualifies the juniors for a free game of golf. If your child doesn't have golf clubs, don't worry, we also offer Junior rental sets at no charge.
